1) Difference between starch and sugar?
ANSWER:  

Starch	sugar
Starch is a long chain of single sugar .	Sugar is a single molecules of carbohydrates
Sources of starch : bread and potato	Source of sugar : sugarcane and juices

 

2) What is the function of salivary?

Answer: our salivary gland secretes the salivary amylase (enzyme) which digests the starch and makes it into simpers form .it is also known as Ptyalin.

3) What is the pH of mouth?
Answer: pH of mouth of a  healthy person  is above 7.

4)  What is function HCL, Mucus and Gastric juice secretes in the stomach?

Answer:  

i)function of HCL: a) it kills the microbes of food
                                  b) It soften the non-veg
                                     c) It activate the enzymes pepsin

 ii)  Function of Mucus:  a) it protects the stomach from the effect of HCL.

iii) Function of Gastric juices:  a)gastric juice secretes from gastric gland present                  in our stomach .Gastric juice contains HCL, mucus and   enzymes.                  

iv) Function of enzymes: there three types of enzymes that are:

     a) Pepsin: it breaks the complex protein into simple protein

     b)  Rennin: it converts the milk / milk product to curd .it also known as   milk curdling enzyme .                 c) Gastric lipase: it breaks down the complex fat into simple fat
