LIFE PROCESS
1.What are the different types of life process ?
Answer: Different type of life process are
1.Nutrition
2.Transportation-
3. Respiration
4. Growth
5. Excretion
2. Define autotrophic nutrition
Answer: The process by which living organisms synthesize food by own
*Photo autotrophic:Food is synthesis by using light
*Chemoautotrophic:Food is synthesis by using chemicals.
3.Define heterotrophic nutrition
Answer: The mode of nutrition in which living organisms depend upon others for food is called heterotrophic nutrition.
4.What are the various steps of photosynthesis?
Answer: The steps of photosynthesis are-
* CO2 and H2O enter the leaf
*Light hits the pigment in the membrane of a thylakoid, splliting the H2O into O2
*The electrons move down to enzymes
*Sunlight hits the second pigment molecules allowing the enzymes ti convert ADP to ATP and NADP + gets converted to NADPH.
5. What are the different functions of stomata?
Answer:
*The gas exchange that occurs when stomata are open facilitates photosynthesis.During photosynthesis, carbon dioxide is taken in the from the atmosphere through stomata and oxygen is released as a waste product
*Through the opening stomata the plants are able to minimize their the water through transpiration.
